Yoga Classes with Elliott’s Uptown Fitness will start a new session beginning week of October 29, 2018 – December 6, 2018. See registration forms linked below.  Join us – experienced teachers and excellent classes!! If you are joining late we will pro-rate the session fee.

Now offering: New Student Special Unlimited Yoga Classes: $49.00 for one month of unlimited classes.

  1. Six Week class sessions run continuously throughout the calendar year.
  2. Flexible payment options include:$60.00 for 6-Week session, $100 for unlimited classes in a 6-Week session, $100 for a 10-class punch card good for 1 year, $12.00 drop in fee
  3. Students may make up missed classes at any other class during the six-week session.
  4. Registration Forms for each class in the six week session are posted below.
    1. To preregister – please complete form and send payment to Elliott’s Uptown Fitness,  221 First Street NE, Mt.Vernon, IA or 
    2. E-mail Kelly May at elliottsuptownfitness@gmail.com and bring form and payment to the first class of the sesion or
    3.  Join a session in progress by completing a registration form and selecting one of our flexible payment options.

Gentle Yoga with Jen Zimmerman Bronder

Tuesday, 10:00-11:00 am (October 30 – December 4, 2018) – Studio A (second level, dance room at the end of the hall in the First Street Community Center)

Gentle Yoga is a relaxing, slow flow class that consciously links movement with breath. Props may be used to help increase range of motion and support good alignment in the poses.  Appropriate for all student levels.

Evening Yoga with Jen Zimmerman Bronder and Carol Daly

Tuesday, 6:30 – 7:30 pm  (October 30 – December 4, 2018) – Studio A (second level, dance room at the end of the hall in the First Street Community Center)

Designed for the end of the day, this class relieves stress and tension through a combination of breath awareness, slow flow movement, supported postures (asana), and guided relaxation. Appropriate for all student levels.

Rise & Shine Yoga with Ann Fleckenstein

Wednesday, 6:00-7:00 am (October 31 – December 5, 2018) – Studio A (second level, dance room at the end of the hall in the First Street Community Center)

This early morning class combines classic yoga exercise (asana) with mindful breathing (pranayama) to prepare you for your busy day.  Appropriate for all student levels.

Hatha Yoga with Ann Fleckenstein and Carol Daly

Thursday, 10:00 – 11:00 am (November 1 – December 6, 2018) – Studio A (second level, dance room at the end of the hall in the First Street Community Center)

This class utilizes classic Hatha Yoga exercises (asana) combined with mindful breathing (pranayama) to develop a healthy body and calm mind.  Appropriate for all student levels.

Saturday, 9:00 – 10:00 am  – Studio A – No Offering this Session
